Marriage License Information
Requirements for a marriage license issued by
1. Both applicants must be at least 17 years of age. You

18 years of age. The parental consent forms are

2. Two forms of identification are required -i.e. Drivers
license or Passport, and Birth Certificate.
If you do not have your birth certificate, you may fill out an Affidavit
available in the Clerk’s Office.
3. Need to know birthplace of bride and groom.
4. Need full names and birthplaces of both parents.
5. Social security numbers of Bride and Groom, if they
have one. If you do not have a Social
Security Number, you must fill out an affidavit available in the Clerk’s
Office.
6. If the applicant had a previous marriage, we will need
to know the date the marriage ended. (Date of divorce degree or date of death)
7. No blood test is required.
8. Licenses are good for one year from date of issuance.
Therefore, they have to be married within that year or they need to apply
again.
